Travel Landscape
In the dawn of 2020, Covid-19 disrupted our lives like never before - and the industry that was impacted most, arguably, was the Travel and Tourism industry. With country wide lockdowns, and ever changing travel restrictions, how can travel agents leverage opportunities and craft unique propositions to not only survive this pandemic, but thrive?
Goal
The aim of this project was to inspire and germinate the creative "seed" with local travel agents to reimagine the tourism industry by leveraging on new strategies e.g. pivoting into new territories, adopt digitalisation, skills upgrading etc. through equipping them with design thinking skills.

Empathising with the Travel Agents

Primary research: User interviews with Travel agents and their customers

Secondary research: Existing research work done by STB + desk research on travel trends across the world.

Personas & Empathy maps: discovering the needs, goals and challenges of both parties.
